  • Seguin, TX to Austin, TX: Project manager for preliminary mapping and survey. Entire route along Texas Department of Transportation right-of-way with 5 miles of street construction within the city limits of Austin, TX.
  • Albuquerque, NM: Mapping and survey 75 miles in and around Albuquerque area. All routes were along street highway right-of-way or city streets with 25 miles parallel to Interstate 40 right-of-way.

IXC Communications

  • Dallas to Houston: 200 miles of preliminary survey and mapping. Necessary permit drawings as required; all mapping utilized aerial photography in electronic format.

  • Marfa to Dryden, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built mapping; first backbone route of MCI.

  • Fort Worth, TX to Sierra Blanca, TX: Preliminary survey mapping; as-built mapping and survey along UP railroad right-of-way; all necessary permit drawings including Texas Water District around the Sierra Blanca area; close coordination with survey supervisor, Right-of-Way supervisor; project entailed over 500 miles.
  • Jacksonville, MS to Hammond, LA: Preliminary mapping and surveying along railroad right-of-way; all necessary permit drawings.
  • Houston, TX to New Orleans, LA: Preliminary and as-built mapping along railroad right-of-way.

  • Rialto, CA to Las Vegas, NV: Preliminary and as-built mapping; all necessary permit drawings; project went across Cajon Pass and following a power line into Las Vegas.
  • Rialto, CA to Ontario, CA: Preliminary and as-built mapping, engineering design; all necessary permit drawings; route was basically along city right-of-way.
  • San Diego, CA to the USA/Mexican Border: Route included going down the city streets through the City of San Diego and then down a trolley car route from San Diego to the Mexican Border; this included all drawing necessary for permitting; engineering; bid package.
  • Santa Barbara, CA to Burbank, CA: Preliminary and as-built mapping and surveying; all necessary permit drawings.
  • Clarksville, WV to Collinsville, PA: Preliminary and as-built mapping and surveying; all necessary permit drawings.
  • Fargo, ND to Billings, MT: Preliminary and as-built mapping and surveying; all necessary permit drawings.

AT&T Communications
1983-1997

  • Dallas, TX to Weatherford, TX: Preliminary mapping, engineering and as-built; 50% of route was along Union Pacific railroad right-of-way and the other 50% of route was along Right-of-Way already purchased by AT&T as part of their coaxil system. This included all aspects of engineering, i.e., placement of handholes, markers, regenerator sites, producing all property plats, permit drawings for completion of project to produce bid packages for construction.
  • Shreveport, LA to Longview, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering on aerial photography base along highway right-of-way; produced complete set of plans ready for construction bid package.
  • Temple, TX to Austin, TX: Preliminary mapping, engineering and surveying; majority of route was along state highway right-of-way; included all necessary permit drawings, property plats and regenerator sites; preparation of drawings for construction bid package and as-built mapping.
  • Austin, TX to San Antonio, TX: Preliminary mapping, surveying, engineering, and as-built; majority of route was along public right-of-way; this also entailed the City of Austin environmental impact requirements. This was the first telecommunications company to build into the City of Austin.
  • San Antonio, TX to Orange Grove, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying; project began in downtown San Antonio and continued to tower site in Orange Grove, TX, which is just outside Corpus Christi. Majority of route was along public right-of-way; produced all necessary permit drawings and environmental impact study.
  • Fort Worth, TX to Temple, TX: As-built and preliminary mapping and engineering along the Burlington Northern Railroad. Project was given to our company by default of prime contractor. As-built mapping was based upon inspector's reports and as-built surveying.
  • Amarillo, TX to Wayside, TX: Twenty-one (21) mile route from AT&T's downtown offices in Amarillo to AT&T tower site at Wayside, TX, paralleling an existing AT&T fiber route. Preliminary mapping, engineering and as-built.
  • Dallas, TX to Irving, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying; metropolitan route following the city streets of Dallas and Irving. Prepared drawings for the directional boring of Trinity River; placement of manholes; total bid package. Entire route consisted of 4" conduit system between AT&T's Dallas Central Office and termination point at the City of Irving, TX.
  • San Angelo, TX to Midland, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying; majority of route was cross-country following existing AT&T coaxil route. Project consisted of preparing ownership maps, alignment sheets for pre-bid for construction purposes and preparing all necessary property plats and permit drawings as required.
  • Little Rock, AR to Gore, OK: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying; aided in route selection; entire route was on virgin right-of-way; all necessary property plats and permit drawings; as-built completed with review of contractor's inspectors reports.
  • Tulsa, OK to Oklahoma City, OK: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying. Project started at 5th & Elgin in downtown Tulsa to AT&T's central office in Oklahoma City. Majority of project was on private land; all necessary property plats produced, permit drawings for construction package for bid; also included as-built mapping of facilities. This included close coordination with right-of-way department to assure the necessary survey and drawings were performed as needed.
  • Oklahoma City, OK to Glenrio, NM: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying. Route followed the outside right-of-way of Interstate-40. A portion of the build went into downtown Amarillo to AT&T's central office facilities thence back to paralleling I-40 to the City of Glenrio, NM. This included necessary property plats for easements, permit drawings, produced final package for construction bids and provided as-built survey based upon inspector's reports for completion for client.
  • Amarillo, TX to Lubbock, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying; majority of project was on Texas DOT right-of-way; provided necessary permit and ownership drawings, property plats and legal surveys as required for completion of project. Project terminated just outside city limits of Lubbock.

WilTel

  • Los Angeles, CA: Preliminary mapping, engineering, as-built and survey for route in downtown Los Angeles. Preparation of necessary permit drawings; project consisted of city street build for entire route and multi-duct conduit system.
  • Houston, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying of route located in downtown Houston; provided necessary permit drawings, construction plans for bid package. As-built mapping was done based upon inspector's reports and as-built survey information.
  • Beaumont, TX: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying of route located in downtown Beaumont; provided necessary permit drawings, construction plans for bid package. As-built mapping was done based upon inspector's reports and as-built survey information.
  • Baton Rouge, LA: Preliminary mapping and engineering; as-built and surveying of route located in downtown Baton Rouge; provided necessary property plats and permit drawings, construction plans for bid package. As-built mapping was done based upon inspector's reports and as-built survey information.

US West Communications

  • Phoenix, AZ and Scottsdale, AZ: Year-long project with field office located in Phoenix, AZ. Work consisted of surveying in equipment and tower sites. Prepared legal plats for all surveys.

Warren Petroleum - Houston (Division of NGC Corporation)
(Company Name changed to Dynegy Midstream Services, LP - effective 1998)

1992-1997

  • Provided mapping support for this client with over six (6) years of continuous service.
  • Remapped entire Trident NGC Systems located in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
  • Provided aerial photos as base maps for remapping project, taking existing system maps and converting the information to Autocad format and plotting aerial photography. This project involved eleven different systems and over 15,000 miles of gathering lines. Work force for this project required ten (10) people.
  • Remapped six (6) gathering systems taking Autocad files and mapping to an electronic quad background and converting to NAD83; systems were set up in Autocad using paper space and model space.

TransOK, Inc. - Tulsa
1987-1997

  • Provided over eleven (11) years of mapping support for Transok.
  • Provided mapping and surveying on new transmission lines and gas gathering lines. Prepared preliminary and as-built alignment sheets, permit drawings, property plats and legal plats for R/W acquisition, profile drawings for directional boring and hydrostatic profile drawings.
  • Updated and maintained Transok atlas drawings which cover and contain all of Transok pipelines and gathering lines.
  • Prepared and developed many drawings for presentation and system maps used company-wide.

Southwest Gas Corporation - Las Vegas
1992-1997

  • Over five (5) years of providing mapping, survey and engineering for new pipeline projects located in Nevada, California and Arizona.
  • Project locations are as follow: Las Vegas, Tucson, Elko, Carson City, Reno, Sparks, Lake Tahoe and Truckee.
  • Mapping included aerial photography, necessary drawings for FERC filing, environmental drawings for permitting, especially in the Lake Tahoe Basin, permit drawings, preliminary and as-built alignment drawings.
  • Truckee project consisted of mapping and survey of the Town of Truckee and surrounding area for a gas distribution system. Project entailed over 400 drawings at a cost of $514,00 and was completed in a 7-month period.

Rio Grande Pipeline Company

  • Wink, TX to El Paso, TX: Preliminary and as-built mapping of 200-mile pipeline system. Survey information obtained by use of GPS survey methods. Legal plats in San Elizario Grant area and permit directional boring drawings. Part of this system extended into Mexico where all mapping utilized the metric system and were in Spanish. Alignment drawings utilized raster aerial images and were geo-referenced.

MapCo - Tulsa

  • Produced emergency response maps for MAPCO's entire pipeline system. Drawings were based on scanned county maps with MAPCO's pipelines shown. The drawings displayed pipeline mileposts, block and check valves, environmentally sensitive areas, and phone numbers for field personnel, fire, police, sheriff and highway patrol. Project consisted of over 150 drawings.
  • Rocky Mountain Pipeline System: Coordination of all as-built inspector's reports for as-built mapping consisting of over 1,100 miles of pipeline.
  • Hobbs, NM to Kutz, NM: Preliminary mapping of 450 miles of pipeline loop; necessary permit drawings, valve sites, route maps, property plats for construction package.

Navajo Pipeline Co. - El Paso, TX

  • Preliminary and as-built mapping of a 100-mile pipeline system. Survey information obtained by use of GPS survey methods. Produced property plats as requested by right-of-way department.

Williams Field Services - Farmington, NM

  • Provided mapping support over 6 year time frame
  • Prepared legal plats for state, private, and Indian land and station sites for Williams Gas Gathering System located in and around the Farmington area.

Express Pipeline - Montana and Wyoming

  • Prepared legal plats for state lands across Montana and Wyoming. Plats were prepared from GPS survey data.

Texaco Trading and Transportation Co. - Various Projects

  • Developed and produced system maps of entire Texaco pipeline systems nationwide.
  • Lost Hills to Oildale, CA: Provided preliminary and as-built mapping for dual pipelines for a 16" gas and 20" crude line. All necessary permit drawings and R/W plats.
  • Lost Hills to Coalinga, CA: Provided preliminary and as-built mapping for 12" pipeline.
  • Coalinga, CA to San Ardo, CA: Provided preliminary and as-built mapping for 16" pipeline.
  • Pearsall, TX: Provided preliminary and as-built mapping for 53 miles of pipeline.
  • Kansas: Provided as-built survey and mapping for 53-mile pipeline.

Enron Corporation - Transwestern Pipeline

  • Prepared preliminary and as-built mapping of 200 miles of loop lines located in and across Arizona. Prepared property plats and legal plats for entire route.

Conoco, Inc.

  • Ponca City, OK to Wichita, KS: Provided as-built survey and prepared legal plats on all tracts on 70-mile project. Legal plats totaled over 200 plats signed by Oklahoma Licensed Surveyor.
  • USA/Canadian border to Billings, MT: (Glacier Pipeline) Remapped on new aerial photography and converted to electronic files manual drawings.

Williams Pipeline Co.

  • Preliminary survey and plats on various projects located in Kansas.

Northwest Pipeline Corporation

  • Colorado, Idaho, Utah and Washington: Reduction of shallow pipe survey with ground elevations and top of pipe elevations. Provided survey information in report form for identifying locations of shallow pipe. Work accomplished with data collectors and physical probing of pipe. Reduction of field work and accuracy of closures proven out in Tulsa office.

Chevron Pipeline Co.

  • Point Conception, CA to Gaviota, CA: Preliminary survey and mapping of pipeline route.

American Central Gas Co.

  • Western Oklahoma and Eastern Texas: Developed and produced system maps; prepared presentation maps to aid in their effort to obtain new client.

  • Western Oklahoma: Mapping and survey for gas gathering system.
